We are looking for skilled IT professionals for the position of a System Architect / Technical Consultant. In this role you will be working on-site in the team of solution architects closely together with the company owner of smapiot and assume the following key responsibilities:
- Engage as hands-on System Architect or Technical Consultant in innovative IT projects for external customers
- Create functional and technical concepts for scalable, reliable, and secure IT systems by utilizing established and modern software design patterns
- Implement proof of concepts and conduct technology evaluations
- Technical leadership of projects using agile development methodologies like SCRUM, Kanban, etc.
- Design and development of IT solutions for external client projects
- Conceptual design and engineering of solution components for own products and services
- Support business development activities and contribute to the growth of the company
The ideal candidate holds a university degree in computer science, natural science or similar subject and offers skills and qualifications in the following areas:
- At least 5 years of IT experience as system architect / technical consultant
- Experience in creating architecture concepts and in implementing modern and secure IT solutions
- Profound knowledge of Microsoft .NET framework (C#,ASP.NET) & other Microsoft technologies
- Ability to architect and design cloud services based on Microsoft Azure
- Practical knowledge in realizing technical proof of concepts and technology evaluations
- Solid technical skills in non-functional areas like security, reliability or scalability
- Familiar with modern and commonly used software design and architectural patterns
- Professional working experience in the field of either IoT or Identity & Access Management
